  1. Just a quick help on the palette stuff (I've forgotten most of it myself.)

  3. The colour numbers that I'm referring to are placed on the screen as such:
  4. (On Ctrl-F12)

  6. Colour 0                Colour 7                Colour 14
  7. Colour 1                Colour 8                Colour 15
  8. Colour 2                Colour 9
  9. Colour 3                Colour 10               (Preset stuff.)
  10. Colour 4                Colour 11
  11. Colour 5                Colour 12
  12. Colour 6                Colour 13

  14. To save the palette, you'll have to use the "Save all Preferences" button
  15. in the Song Variables & Directory Configuration page (F12)

  17. Uses of the colours: (This is the part which I can't remember anymore :) )
  18.  Colour 0:
  19.    Border colour.
  20.    Background for 'empty' windows.
  21.    Lots of text
  22.  
  23.  Colour 1:
  24.    "Back" of border colour
  25.    Colour for .MTM and .MOD files.
  26.    Colour of samples of unidentified format.
  27.    Colour channel headers in the pattern editor & info page.
  28.    Secondary colour on the info page.

  30.  Colour 2:
  31.    Background Colour.
  32.    Colour of scroll bars, text entry
  33.    Color of effects/effectvalues on infopage.
  34.  
  35.  Colour 3:
  36.    Hilight colour.
  37.    Sometimes used as the heading colour
  38.    "Fore" of border colour
  39.    Colour of IT modules and samples whose formats have been identified.

  42.    Error colour (in load/save routines)

  45.    Colour of header information
  46.    Colour of real-time volume bars on infopage.

  88. OK.. so now all the preset palettes have been filled - but unfortunately, that
  89. doesn't mean that there's one set there that will suit your taste! And most
  90. likely, someone else will like whatever colour scheme you put together - so
  91. I want a copy of it!

  95. A little bit of variety in each version won't hurt - send me your ideas, and
  96. I'll cycle through different schemes each update!

  98. What I want are basically the Red/Green/Blue numbers reading DOWN the columns
  99. or your IT.CFG file.

  101. Oh, and a name for the palette would be nice also.

  103. btw. Don't have your monitor's intensity too high if you're using "Midnight
  104. Tracking" - it's made for when you have no background light :)
